The H-boat belongs to the largest keelboat class in Europe and is known for its very good sailing characteristics, an H-boat is strongly built and trailerable. It is the perfect day sailor for touring or racing, the race crew consists of 3 people but the boat is also great to sail solo. Because of its shallow draft and vertical clearance of 10.50 m, it is suitable for the smaller lakes, the Wadden Sea and the Randmeren. But also with a lot of wind on the IJsselmeer you can have a lot of fun with an H-boat. Interior and exterior of this boat has recently been refitted, the boat is in very good condition.
The boat was designed by the Finn Hans Groop, has an S-frame hull shape and a single rudder. The steering is by tiller from outside.The Mercury 4-stroke BB engine is working and has a power of 5 hp and 2 cylinders.The tank capacity is 20 liters, but there is also a spare tank with clean gasoline that will last at least 3 years.
There is one battery and the boat has shore power, a battery charger and a voltmeter. Navigation equipment includes a depth gauge and a log speed meter, but the paddle of the log is missing. There is one aluminum mast and three sails present (mainsail, genoa, spinnaker and halfwinder). There are two sets of sails present (for touring and racing). Exterior equipment includes an anchor, swim ladder, cockpit table, outside cushions, fenders and lines. There is also a 2022 anchor line with lead fore-runner. The boat has a self-draining cockpit.
